A Record Breaking Day at Fiesta de Libros

FdL 2-8-14Fiesta de Libros started off its 2014 season on February 8 with a record breaking day. We had 127 children aged from toddler to high school visit our reading room at Plaza Fiesta, and thanks to our volunteers, we gave away 217 books.

It is really rewarding to see kids eagerly search for books that interest them and to experience the joy of reading.

Our goal is to expose children to literature designed for their reading level and to provide them with books they can enjoy at home.

To learn more about our program and to see how you can help kids learn the pleasure of reading, visit our website at www.fiestadelibros.com or see our table in the social hall on spotlight Sunday, February 16.
